H as in Hair
Hair grows everywhere on the body except on the palms of our hands, soles of our feet, and on our lips.
We are obsessed with our hair. We think we have too much here and not enough there! We’re told constantly these days where we’re supposed to have it and where we’re not supposed to have it. We shave, plug, epilate, laser, wax, color, bleach, extend, straighten, flatiron, curl, etc. Do you remember the time when women went shopping with curlers in their hair? My mother slept with curlers in her hair every night and I’ve never been able to figure out how she did this -- way before soft curlers ever existed!
There is a whole industry out there with different kinds of shampoos, conditioners, and masks to keep our hair healthy and shiny with tons of volume, and an incredible number of magazines just on the topic of HAIR!
Musicals were written and movies were made about hair and hairdressers. Our hairdressers were our artists and therapists. Since they already knew all the secrets about our hair, we could tell them anything!
Life is an endless struggle full of frustrations and challenges, but eventually you find a hair stylist you like.
A big part of having healthy hair is not only what we eat, the vitamins we take, or how often we wash and cut it, but also how well we are able to move our scalp.
NIMBLE shows you with simple movements how to increase the oxygen flow to your hair to keep you AND your hair happy!
